The mysterious Hopkirk & Lee, a source of great frustration and fascination among '90s indiepop collectors. I know nothing about this record aside from that it was made by two guys named Alex Hopkirk and Ronnie Lee and maybe others. They really sound quite a lot like Moose sprinkled with a bit of Pale Fountains. "Free Arthur Lee" doesn't expressly have anything to do with Arthur Lee, but it's a gorgeous baroque pop song they may have decided to dedicate to their greatest inspiration.
